Scars show the vulnerability of our skin. They are often perceived as annoying or painful.
Sometimes they are tense, appear sensitive to the weather or limit our mobility. 
The fractional Co2 laser In many cases it can gently smooth and even remove scars. The emitted laser beams are absorbed by the water-containing scar tissue and cause the layers of skin to be removed. This creates a superficial wound that slowly scabs over.
After 1-3 weeks, the skin renews itself.

Your skin is protected to the maximum, although redness and crusting may occur after the treatment, which will subside after some time .

Process of the Co2 laser treatment
  1. Before the treatment, an anonymous digital photo of the scar area in the affected skin area is taken in order to effectively document the course of the laser therapy.
  2. After the skin area has been disinfected, the effective laser therapy is carried out. Laser treatment of the affected areas is painless and generally very well tolerated. A pain-relieving ointment can be used for particularly sensitive areas of the body.
  3. During the laser therapy (duration, depending on the size, from several minutes to an hour), the patient wears laser safety glasses.< /li>
  4. After the laser treatment has been completed, cooling takes place.
  5. For the following days, please follow the recommendations of our specialists.

As the skin can be injured during the laser treatment, you should avoid using a solarium or sunbathing for a few weeks before and after the treatment.
